GTD5 terminals are called ACDC and IO
The 4 Function on key pad lets terminal
switch between ACDC and IO

1. There
is a key in the bottom left corner of the ACIF ACDC panel,
toggle it remote transferred or not.
2.
Pressing PF4 function key toggles between local and remote
terminals.

commands from any I/O terminal,
to activate remote terminal:
BEGI
SRVC
SET REMO TRAN ACTI
END SESS
to
deactivate remote terminal:
BEGI
SRVC
SET REMO TRAN DEAC
END SESS
Command to “bring the GTD5 back in
service”
Sometimes when you replace a terminal; it
may take it “out of service”.
Here is the command to bring the GTD5 back
in service.
1.) Hit
(CTL) and B
2.) Should
receive a blinking cursor
3.) Type
the following command:
PUT[space]INS[space]SRVC[space]TERM[space](TERMINAL#)
Example:
PUT INS SRVC TERM 4
4.) Hit
(CTL) and C
